**Center for Health System Improvement**
**Coleman Building, 956 Court Ave., Conference Room D227**
Through the BERD Clinic, the [Center for Health System Improvement(CHSI)](https://uthsc.edu/chsi/) supports interdisciplinary health services research, quality improvement projects, and patient-centered outcomes research using large databases. The Center maintains the [Diabetes Wellness and Prevention Coalition (DWPC) Registry database](https://www.uthsc.edu/chsi/dwpc/registry.php?useTarget=_blank) , which includes electronic health records for over 50 clinics and 6 adult hospitals in the Mid-South. The DWPC Registry also includes Tennessee Medicaid (TennCare) claims data for Medicaid beneficiaries served by the Registry. We also provide data extracts for publicly-available datasets such as the [Medical Expenditure Panel Survey (MEPS)](https://meps.ahrq.gov/mepsweb/) and the [National Ambulatory Medical Care Survey (NAMCS)](https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/ahcd/index.html). BERD Clinic consultations through CHSI are intended to help researchers in study design, data analysis, and providing data extracts.
